Moto x: Best motorola's smartphone in market {Reviews, specs, features, price, compare}.

motorola x 3rd

Moto X is the Motorola's flagship phone that got the mainstream attention from consumers and helped them to make a comeback in the smartphone market. Few days ago, the company launched 3rd generation of Moto X and it look a lot similar to the Nexus 6. Its a bit bigger and bumped up version with killer specs but it just scream Nexus 6 to me.

This generation Moto X has some pretty killer specs on paper which include a snapdragon 808(6- core) which hasn't have problem with any other device unlike snapdragon 810 and its heating issue. It has 3 gb of ram and internal storage of 16/32/64 gb storage with expandable memory powered by a 3000mah battery that fits inside its curved back. Superfast turbo charging which is claimed to be fastest by Motorola, 10hrs of charge in just 15min. 5.7 QHD display, 520ppi and dual front facing stereo speaker for a crisp sound.

motorola x 3

A 21 megapixel camera with f/2.0 lens, dual led flash and 4k video recording but we all know that Motorola has always struggle with its camera in past years, though they have made improvements every time. Motorola also claims that this camera is a whole new ball game and will be a top notch camera unlike its struggling predecessors. They have also added a new gesture to open flash by double chopping your phone and then their is always reliable double twist to open camera. They have also launched 3 Variants of Moto X which is
motorola x3 3rd gen

Moto X Play:

The Moto X Play comes with  a 5.5-inch, 1080p screen and a huge 3630mAh battery. It will not be made available in USA. Moto X Play will also have a 21MP rear-camera and a 5MP front-facing camera which is also present in Moto X Style. Available with 2GB of RAM, Play will be avaialble in Dual Sim, microSD card slot and Android 5.1.1.

Moto X Style:

It is Moto X which we discussed in detail in this article above and will be available in US and other countries.

Moto X Pure:

It is the Moto X Style but its an unlocked version of the phone means you just need to pop-in a sim card with any carrier and use it.

Overall, I am pretty excited when the phone will launch in September.

Review: Oneplus Two still a Flagship killer?

oneplus two_01

In today’s world where mobile company’s and smartphones perish at same rate they are launched in the market, oneplus has really made a name for itself in this cut-throat competition.

Last year with the launch of the cost-effective oneplus one also known as the ‘Flagship Killer’ they got a strong foothold in the industry. Let’s find out if they can mimic the success with their latest smartphone the oneplus two.

OnePlus two Display And Design

oneplus two

The oneplus two has the same sandstone back as the original one but looks sharper and a tad bit smaller although it has the same screen size of 5.5in with 1080p panel with 401 ppi.

The oneplus two has become a bit thicker at 9.9 in comparison to 8.9 and somewhat heavier at 175 g from 162 g in oneplus one.

Dimensions, are 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85 mm.

It also utilizes a aluminum and magnesium lodging with steel control keys and outline for a more premium feel, style and look.

Buyers will also have the option the change its back panels i.e. StyleSwap back panels from Bamboo, Kevlar to apricot and rosewood which will help to enhance the overall appeal of the device.

The display takes up most of the front part, adding to the improved appearance of this new and updated model. It also has a improved IPS LCD screen with better color and brightness. However, the basic display specifications have not been changed whatsoever.

OnePlus two RAM, Processor & Battery

oneplus two_02

According to OnePlus' pre-dispatch data given to its group, the OnePlus two packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit which is a octa-core processor, it also has 4GB of RAM on the 64GB storage variation, whereas the 16GB model has less RAM of 3GB. The battery pack is evaluated at 3,300mAh and with moderate usage we should be able to use it for a whole day without plugging it in.

OnePlus two Ports, Connectivity & Other Hardware

The OnePlus two packs the new Type-C USB standard, permitting clients to exploit the new Type-C cable which can be put whichever way round. Be that as it may, on the off chance that you claim more seasoned microUSB problems (as a great many people do) then apprehension not as OnePlus will package in a connector. The handset has double nano SIM support and full 4G LTE capacities on both the sim’s.

There's likewise a unique finger impression scanner incorporated with the physical home key, with backing for up to five fingerprints, and it's said to work in 0.5 seconds which you can argue might be faster than that on iPhone 6.

OnePlus 2 Camera

The back confronting essential camera is appraised at 13MP with a vast f/2.0 opening. It utilizes optical picture adjustment (OIS) which helps for better videos in freehand, substantial ultrapixel tech, double LED flah and laser concentrate, mixes with 4K feature catch and 720p slow-mo at 120fps. It additionally has a six component lens and is guaranteed to include incredible low-light execution.

The front-confronting selfie camera is appraised at 5MP and can also shoot full HD at 1080p.

OnePlus two Software

Rather than CyanogenMod, this time you get OxygenOS, which is a genuinely quite light based on top of Google Android. However much as could reasonably be expected, OnePlus has attempted to keep things near stock, yet there are a couple changes and widgets here and there. Things are looking unadulterated and Material Design unwavering.

OnePlus 2 Price, Availability & Release Date

The 16GB stockpiling base model is estimated at £239 while the higher-end 64GB choice expenses £289. OnePlus is again working a welcome just acquiring framework, in spite of the fact that it's as far as anyone knows going to be less focused this time as the firm guarantees a bigger load of gadgets. Requests are relied upon to go live on August 11.

Here's the official line from OnePlus:

"You can get a welcome from companions who have obtained an OnePlus 2 as of now, or by taking an interest in our challenges and advancements. For notices about our challenges and welcomes, subscribe to our pamphlet/newsletter, join our group on the discussions, or tail us on online media”

Windows 10 – Is it as perfect as the number 10?

windows 10

On 29th July 2015, Microsoft has finally released the last version of windows which is the windows 10 codenamed as threshold. And now we can finally get it into our homes. This year Microsoft has added a lot of special things to this version of windows and it has been the reason for so much of hype. The best thing about this year’s windows 10 release is that it can be upgraded for FREE, yes you heard that right, windows 10 is free to download to all those people who currently have genuine versions of windows 7 and windows 8 and windows 8.1. I think this is one of the best marketing techniques Microsoft has come up with in the last few years. So, this one is going to be the last version of windows which means no more windows 11 or windows 12. And Microsoft has planned to give updates to the windows 10 after an every few months rather than creating new windows.

windows 10 - 01

Microsoft’s thinks 10 is a perfect number and there is nothing more perfect than 10 so that is why they want to end the version number of windows at windows 10 and that is their reason for making it the last windows release. windows 10 is the most anticipated windows till date as we lost our start menu in the windows 8, a lot of people are still using windows 7 for the sole reason and with the release of windows 10 we will get our start menu back and that is the best thing about windows 10 for those people who are still on windows 7 for the reason of start menu. The start menu in windows 10 is dynamic and is much more advanced than we saw in window 7. It features all the same things as usual and moreover features the same live tiles which we saw on the windows 8. So, we can say it is the mix of the old and the new to make something even more useful. Start menu is customizable and user friendly, it is simple in looks and brings back the feeling of windows 7 start menu. The live tiles work the same way as they used to on windows 8 and looks beautiful on the new start menu. The Search is smartly added just besides the start menu and works perfectly fine. It can be used to search anything throughout the system or the internet just from your task bar.

cortana

Cortana, the windows assistant software can be accessed from the same search bar but it is not currently available in all countries like India. For people who can’t wait to use Cortana in India, they can simple go their setting and change their current region to United States and you will be able to use it. windows 10 comes with amazing features like task view, it display all the windows which are opened by zooming out so that we can look at a glance to what all things are opened and switch windows easily, it makes it very simple and is a very handy feature by Microsoft. It even allows you to create separate desktops so that you can open different things on each desktop to avoid any complications.

tablet mode

The Tablet mode is another feature which I liked on the windows 10; it completely changes the user interface of windows 10 into a tablet like look. It creates an interface as we find on tablets and removes the start menu and instead open the home screen we can find in windows 8. Even on a non-touch screen laptop it feels great to use it. Microsoft has added a new sidebar on the right side of the window called the notification panel, it is the most useful feature as it provides all the toggles to quickly do things like connecting to wifi and changing brightness and turning off Bluetooth, location, battery saver, tablet mode and you can see all your current notification above these toggles.

microsoft edge browser

Also this windows brings a new browser to the interface called Microsoft edge, so you get two browsers pre-installed on windows 10 – edge and internet and explorer. Edge is a very elegant browser, the browser’s interface is clean and it looks very simple. But unlike internet explorer maybe this one actually hit the market. Internet explorer is disgraced by people because of the lagging issues we faced a few years back but now after a lot of updates it has improved and become a lot better than what it was back then. Microsoft edge provides a new place for writing, reading and researching on the internet. It allows users to scribble over web pages to make notes and read distraction free on the reading modes of the browser and with the help of Cortana you’re built in personal assistant you can get instant results and information. windows 10 will also add a lot of built in apps like maps, photos, mail, music, films & TV and onedrive.

windows 10 download

The new windows 10 brings a lot of new things with it and carries a lot of amazing feature more than 10 and which can answer to our question that it is really as perfect as number 10. The upgrade to windows 10 is fairly easy, you just need to go to the website and reserve one for yourself and when the version is available in your country you can download it and install it for free. The download file is of 3GB and only those people who have genuine windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 can download it. I will recommend it to everyone to get hands on the new windows 10 and explore all the new features inside the windows 10.

9 very rare facts about Bill Gates

Who doesn't know Bill Gates! The owner of the Microsoft Corporation, probably is worth a big-fat figure of $79 Billions. That's billions only, no need to have a second thought about it. You might know the overly-heard facts of him being a drop out student of Harvard and that he and Paul Allen found the Software firm in 1975 when Gates was just 20 year old etc. But below are some very rare facts know about him and his early life that'll keep you interested:

1. Unlike other big, successful names who have made their way to the top through poverty and a lot of struggle, Gates comes from a family who has never been financially umstable. His father was a lawyer and great-grandfather, founded a bank which was later inherited by his grandfather who reportedly set-up a million dollar trust fund for Bill.

2. Every night after the dinner, he washes the dinner dishes himself and when offered help from someone else, "Other people offer help but I like the way I do it.", he answers.

3. Loves splurging on his private airplane, and like to call it his "guilty pleasure". Mimd you, the private jet that Bill Gates owns is gigantic and must cost a fortune to maintain.

4. Bill Gates, in his early days at Microsoft, was notorious for chucking f-bombs during his conferences and in emails. But the sources who are his own people who worked with him back then, claims to never saw him dropping them on people personally.

5. During his young days, he used to collect Porsches that he drove crazily and would eventually be fined a speeding ticket. It was then, he decided to hire a traffic attorney. Bill once crashed into a car in the employee parking lot followed by, him handing over his business card to the victim. "Send the bill to Bill" meme became famous around that time.

6. We don't know about being witty but Bill has a good sense of humour. Though they are usually geeky and tech related. And last year he did a video with Jimmy Fallon which went "viral" like a forest fire.

7. Has a goal to donate atleast $100Bn to the charity, in his lifetime.
The Non Profit Organisation isn't the only place at the end of receiving of his charity, he also donates and aims to invest in the project to supply the clean energy to the unfartunate ones. That is one huge Philanthropist!

8. Selling off stock to use the money for his charity work, that is what Gates has been doing for years. Which means Microsoft isn't the main source of his worth. He is also investing in other businesses to keep the funding for his non-profit organisation named "Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation" continuous.

9. Since, the programming prodigy has been selling his stocks in large bulks over the years in every passing month, he is also no longer the biggest shareholder of Microsoft. Steve Ballmer was officially announced the man in 2014.

New Flagship Phone: The Turing Phone

This new device will satisfy everything that you might have wished in your smartphone.

A new android smartphone, named 'The Turing Phone', which is about to hit Indian Smartphone Market has been doing rounds since it's news of expected arrival. Why? Well, the reasons are pretty attractive and shocking! Putting it in three words, the company claims the phone to be:
i) Unbreakable
ii) Unhackable &
iii) Waterproof
Yep, you heard it right. But unfortunately, the yet-to-launch phone can't be tagged as an 'affordable' device just yet.

This Unbreakable smartphone is made using a material called 'Liquidmorphium' which is more solid and stronger than steel, iron, titanium or almost any other metal which is available. That is why the device is almost unbreakable but we all know  what is more prone to getting accidentally broken in a smartphone, it is it's screen! Isn't it?! Why doesn't someone do anything about it?! Okay, let's not lose ourselves in our own debates! Though, the phone misses a headphone jack and a USB port, making the device Unhackable! System apps developed using encryption on every step makes it safer. A nano-coating on it's internal parts makes it Waterproof and that feels like such a relief, right?! So yes, if you're one of those careless people for whom The Turing Robotics Industries has developed this device for, then you're all set to go for it until September. The following video walk-through by Android Authority will give you a nice quick tour through the whole device:

Heading on to  it's specs, The Turing Phone will come powered with Android Lollipop v5.0 and will be sporting a 5.5" 1080 FHD display! Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 will be the installed chipset, clocked at 2.5 GHz. The device will be loaded with a LPDDR3 3GB ram. Camera specs are pretty basic with a 13MP lens at the rear face and 8MP at the front. The smartphone will be available in three variants: 16/64/128 GB.

The phone is expected to be running on a 3000mAh battery and priced ranging from 55k rupees for the 16GB model to 68k rupees for 128GB model. This masterpiece might be in Indian markets by September and is targeted to compete with the top flagship phones from hTc, Samsung, Apple, LG etc.

YU Yureka Plus look revealed!

Yureka Plus look revealed, before the actual launch on 20th July.

Most of you are very well aware of Micromax's Yu Televentures and how big of a hit it has become in India. YU's founder Rahul Sharma has dropped YU users with a two small cues about what's to come next in the YU franchise.

The official YU channel has been uploading and teasing fans with videos of phones being grinded in a grinder leaving us guessing with our jaws dropped, and ending the video by saying 'YUGuessWhat. Below is one of the videos by YU:

Not much later, YU uploaded a second video by the name 'YUGuessWhat 2.0'. And we knew we were in for another trauma again but this natural human behaviour just doesn't let us go of the things we love, so we watched it! We saw phones being tripped and falling off of kitchen shelves and balcony or either the staircase. We couldn't make out of the video much but we did see the phones were the old installments and that YU may want us to think that they are probably coming with a protective layer or coating for the new device which is much tolerant of the falls and trips. Here is the second version of YUGuessWhat:

YU's last release was Yuphoria, a dual sim phone, which made it's way into people pretty good!

Specifications:

Weight: 143 gms
Body: Metal covering on the borders and rest fiber
Camera: Front with 5MP lens and rear with 8MP lens
